About Beaver Island

What to do on Beaver Island

On our first visit to the island, we realized that there is SO MUCH to do, that it’s impossible to do everything in one trip, and relax and recover from the daily grind.

The list is endless with events and activities, but let’s start with:

Beaver Island Cuisine

Beaver Island offers an array of choices for visitors. You can grab your groceries at McDonough’s Market and cook at The Retreat. Or, maybe you’re looking for a quick bite while you walk through town? Stop by Daddy Franks and grab a dog a grilled cheese.  Wanna look out over the bay at the sailboats, fishing charters, or The Beaver Islander coming in to dock, try the Shamrock or the Beachcomber. Interested in a deli atmosphere with creative cuisine made fresh and served with a smile? Then stop by Dalwhinnie Bakery and Deli. Oh….a romantic dinner at The Circle M or The Lodge shouldn’t be missed. And, for the best cup of coffee on the island, you can’t miss stopping at Paradise Bay Coffee Shop. They roast their own beans!

Stay Connected. Stay Informed
